The Teacher Behind The School 

Writing shouldn’t feel confusing, overwhelming, or filled with tears. Unfortunately, for many families, it is. I created The Write School Online to change that. My mission is simple: to guide students toward becoming confident, capable writers using clear instruction, structured support, and encouragement every step of the way.

For almost a decade, I’ve taught writing to thousands of students from local co-op classrooms to online learners around the world. As a Registered IEW Instructor, a B.A. in English graduate, and a TEFL/TESOL-certified educator, I bring a unique blend of structure, clarity, and compassion to every lesson. This combination allows me to break down even the most challenging writing concepts in a way that makes sense to students of all ages and abilities.

Why I Teach Writing the Way I Do

I’ve seen firsthand how powerful writing becomes when students are taught how to write not just told to write. Through IEW’s proven methods and my experience simplifying language for diverse learners, I help students:

• understand what good writing looks like

• develop the tools to create it themselves

• grow their confidence with every assignment

Whether we’re outlining an essay, crafting a creative story, or laughing through a silly poem, I walk alongside your child with patience, clarity, and genuine support.

A Bit of My Story

As a former homeschooling mom, I understand the pressure parents feel when teaching writing at home. It’s one of the hardest subjects to teach and one of the most important.

That’s why I built The Write School Online: to give parents a trusted partner and give students a safe, encouraging place to grow as writers.
